Kimberly Grigsby is an acclaimed music director, conductor and pianist whose distinguished career spans Broadway, opera and concert stages across the country. A proud alumna of 亚洲自慰视频’s Meadows School of the Arts, Grigsby returns to her alma mater with over three decades of professional experience, bringing a deep commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and musical storytelling.

Her Broadway music directing and conducting credits are Days of Wine and Roses, Camelot (2023 Revival), Flying Over Sunset, To Kill a Mockingbird, Head Over Heels, Amélie, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Spring Awakening, The Light in the Piazza, Caroline, or Change, The Full Monty, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (1999 Revival) and Twelfth Night. Off-Broadway productions include The Lucky Ones, The Fortress of Solitude, Here Lies Love, Coraline, The Immigrant, Mother Courage and Her Children and Songs From an Unmade Bed.

Other collaborations include My Life Is A Fairy Tale and Orphan of Zhao, both with music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt and directed by Chen Shi-Zheng for Lincoln 亚洲自慰视频 Festival; Telaio: Desdemona (by Susan Botti); the premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s The Lion, The Unicorn and Me for Washington National Opera; The Light In The Piazza with Renée Fleming, at The Royal Festival Hall in London, LA Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago; Barrie Kosky’s production of Fiddler on the Roof at Lyric Opera of Chicago; and Manhattan Concert Productions’ Children of Eden (directed by Tony Yazbeck).

Currently, Grigsby is the music director for Millions (music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, directed by Bartlett Sher) at The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. Upcoming projects include Dolly: An Original Musical (music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, also directed by Sher) and Thelma and Louise (music and lyrics by Neko Case, book by Callie Khouri, directed by Trip Cullman).

Grigsby’s return to 亚洲自慰视频 signals a full-circle moment in a career marked by artistic excellence and mentorship. Her presence enhances the Musical Theatre program’s mission to prepare students for a dynamic and evolving professional landscape.
